I’ve recently come across a company that I never knew existed – Haberman
They kindly sent me some products to try out an review here on my blog.
I found the suckle feeder to be amazing, it’s so different from any other bottle we’ve seen or used. The idea behind the design is that the baby is feeding from a closed teat not the bottle, effectively reducing air bubbles. We’ve seen many different ways on the market of reducing colic, how Haberman tackle this is not by holes but by a teat valve which shuts between each suckle cycle,so the baby can relax and breathe between swallows. I love the way the suckle feeder looks, it really stands out from other brands. The bottle is lightweight and easy for Max to hold. The bottle just seems so natural to me, we’ve never seen a bottle use a closed teat before. Its so rare to see anything that has not been reproduced from previous designs, we found it quite refreshing. The suckle feeder costs £7.50 and you can find it in stores such as Sainsbury’s, Mothercare and Morrisons.
We also tried out the dynamic soothers. My first impression was how cute they looked. The design is perfect for boys and girls. It was nice to see a soother in a colour other than blue or pink.
The soother has air vents around the whole circumference, it was also a good shape to accommodate Max’s nose. There’s nothing worse than a soother that covers the nostrils.
The quality of the soother is high, it feels sturdy. I’m not concerned about the teat coming away from the base, its very well made. If I could do just one thing to make this product better that would be to make it glow in the dark. The really important thing is that Max likes the soother, in the grand scheme of things that’s all that matters.
