Monday saw Kaiser’s 6 month birthday, he is officially half a year old.
Time need’s to slow down, here is our 6-month update:
The past few week’s we have experienced lots of rolling from back to front. He really is funny, he will roll over and just lie like a starfish for a few minutes before starting to whine, like he’s just taking a breather.
Kai has found his feet and enjoy’s nothing better than to grab and tear of his socks.
Weaning has begun. Like Max we are going down the baby led path again. This week we are starting off with breakfast, so far he has experienced Toast, Banna and Apple and he’s been loving it. It’s funny seeing him in the highchair, compared to Max he looks so tiny (Not something I am used too)
Teething is in full swing. We can clearly see the two top teeth coming down, it will only be a matter of time before they cut. He’s dealing with it so well and we rarely need to give him teething powder.
What’s Kai Loving?
Regardless of the bad press for poor Sophie the Giraffe Kai is still loving this teether, we have never submerged the toy in water so I’m not concerned at the prospect of mould inside.
He has a few toy’s that he likes to chew and play with but what He loves the best is social interaction. From us and his brother. You can see how fond he is off Max even at this very young age.
Kai is still a total milk guzzler, downing 4 or 5 8oz bottles of formula a day. I’ve moved him to stage 2 milk which complements a weaning diet.
We haven’t had him weighed for a while but he certainly is a chunk.
