Snot,Snot and more Snot – #Little Loves

This past week has been slightly disastrous. In the sense that we have all been quite poorly!

The majority of the week was spent at home which has been a nightmare at times. We did manage to see some of our mummy friends and their kids for a bit of lunch on Monday which was lovely. All the kids were really well behaved so we got to have a good catch up. Most of the girls went back to work after their maternity was up so we don’t get to see each other as much as we did previously.

Together we haven’t seen an awful lot this week. I’ve been catching up on the new series from the US “This is Us” for anyone who likes a good drama, seriously watch it, it’ll have you in tears. We’ve been watching a lot of the Goldbergs which is so funny. It based in the 80’s about a typical family. I just love the nostalgia feel to it.

No music this week, but lots and lots of crying and whinging from the older one.

On Wednesday the boy’s nanny came for a quick visit and she got to play with Max (lucky her). I think it was trains and cars, every time she moved or went to leave the room he would tug at her hand and say “play nanny play”.

The Kid’s

So as mentioned the theme for the week is sickness. It started with gunky eyes for Max and ended in Croup. After a visit to the Dr for some medicine, he seems to be on the mend. Only now we also ALL have colds. It’s a great place to be my house… not!

Max learnt a new phrase this week, “later Alligator”. God only know’s where he has picked that up from but he sounds very cute when he says it. His favourite word is still “No” and we get to hear that one about 50 times a day.

Kai’s personality is really starting to shine through now. He is constantly shouting like his telling us off (which to be fair he probably is). We’ve not really had any new milestones for a while. He loves to stand and grab his feet. We’re also trying to get him to drink water out of a beaker.
