My body has never been what I would call in top form.
Actually that’s a lie, the year I got married I was looking hot hot hot. I trained for 2 years to get the perfect wedding dress body. It was a long hard slog but I did it and I looked AWESOME on my wedding day.
This is us both looking much better than we do now 🙂
We always knew that I would get pregnant again within the first year of having Max, we really wanted our kids to be close in age. So losing weight seemed pointless.
I did lose most of my baby weight in that first year but lo and behold by the time Max’s birthday came around I was indeed once again preggers.
My first pregnancy pulled my body slightly out of shape but it was nothing that couldn’t be rectified with a change in diet and some exercise.
The second pregnancy well that’s another story. My body is BROKEN!!!! My belly is one large stretchy piece of dough,it’s going to take some serious mojo to get that bad boy back in shape, and don’t even get me started on my boobs. They were nice in pregnancy now there saggy and hanging to my knees. Very depressing stuff.
I don’t dare post a pic of my body now, I wouldn’t want to scare you off.
I’m trying to watch what I eat (she says after eating a pizza for dinner at 10 pm) and I really need to start exercising. There’s just no time at all for any of it. I lasted 3 weeks at slimming world it was just too much for me. I know I should give myself a break Kai is only 3 months after all.
I think for now I must take baby steps, better diet and more walking instead of jumping in the car for starters.
How was your body after your second child? Was it also wrecked or is this just me?
